-Concerned with change
-Setting directions and motivating/ inspiring towards the common goal, can be concerned with the small details
Managers
-Concerned with complexity, day to day problem solving, planning, budgeting, organisation of people, administration, communication, and tasking people with the right work.

-The current trend in management is a coaching approach - bringing people along on a journey
-Their is no one style of management
-Gen Z has a lot of different management styles
-A working style that Gen Z use is 'quiet quitting' /PM's have to adapt to workers who may quit quietly
-Be authentic when leading
-Build your own personal style/ Who you are as a manager
Leaders 'influence' people and achieve a common goal, its about using your charisma in order to lead a group of people.
Power.
-All leaders source their power to lead from the origin
These are known as the bases of power
-Reward ( Money, promotions, compliments)
-Coercion ( The ability to tell people what to do, However this could backfire)
-Legitimate (Authentic, rational)
-Expertise ( A lot of experience in the context of the role, gives you an immediate social status in the project)
-Referent ( The power to reference from afar/ This is a power that a lot of influential people have)
-Informational ( Using information to show a better way of processing the work)
